Working safely during Coronavirus

Counselling Provision during the current National Tier 5 restrictions

Regrettably I can only provide counselling via Zoom during the tier 5 restrictions that come into force on January 5th 2021.

General guidance

In line with government guidance I have reviewed procedures to help protect against the spread of coronavirus.

The space used for therapy during this time is a room accessed from outside. Windows and doors will be kept open, if appropriate, to help circulate air. During the session we will be seated and the distance between our seating is a minimum of 2 meters.  I will wear a clear visor during the therapy session and you may choose to wear a face covering. Seats will be cleaned between clients. Any tools used for therapy will be solely for each client to use and/or will be sanitised between client sessions.

Please note toilet facilities will be unavailable, unless absolutely necessary.

Please do not attend a session if you have any symptoms of Covid 19 to protect yourself and others. You agree to let me know if your circumstances change or you think you may have been in contact with someone who has contracted Covid-19.

Clients over 70, or those who are deemed clinically high risk with underlying health conditions, should not attend in person to avoid any unnecessary risk to themselves or others and will be offered telephone or zoom sessions.

For our safety hand sanitiser will be offered on arrival and please bring your own bottled drink and tissues if required. Payments are to be made  by online bank transfer to avoid any transmission of the virus.

I am required, if necessary, to provide your name, telephone number and email address to the UK Track and Trace System to avoid further spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19).
