Coronavirus – Covid 19

I am meeting with clients face to face but expect this to change shortly, in response to government advice.

With an increasing amount of media attention on the spread of COVID-19  I am aware this is a concern for all of us in terms of your health and continuity of care and this, for some, is an increasing source of anxiety.

To be equipped with the latest and most accurate advice I advise you visit the NHS  website for guidance on coronavirus for general information about the virus  (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/) and the government website for the latest update on the situation within the UK (https://www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response) .  As with any illness, I will not work or work with anyone face to face if either of us is  experiencing any signs or symptoms of the virus. Please note that during this period I will be relaxing my usual cancellation period.

I recognise that our whole lives are being affected in lots of different ways and this in turn may contribute to a sense of despair. In these circumstances I will be able to relax my fees to support some who are in particular need.

In these circumstances I will be happy to offer telephone counselling and I’m finalising details  and undergoing training to be able to offer counselling online, so hope this can be another alternative.
Please be assured though that I am doing all I can to keep areas clean, especially door handles etc. I request that all clients wash their hands or use hand sanitising gel on arrival to their counselling session. Regrettably you will need to provide your own gel as I have been unable to source any.
I hope this hasn’t heightened any anxiety for you. My intention is to inform you of the precautionary measures I’m taking to help clients feel at ease.
